Audio and Video Adapter Blocks for Standard and HD TV

These products are a range of high quality adapter blocks to allow you to fit our cables to almost any combination of video source or TV!

The DVI to HDMI adapter plugs into any of our HDMI cables to allow them to be used with equipment that has DVI-D sockets, eg. some Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 7 TV's and BeoSystem 3 processors, plus a wide range of other products including LCD computer screens (which often have DVI inputs instead of HDMI). Please note that as DVI-D does not support audio, this adapter will only pass picture information, not sound. Hence, you will need to add separate audio cables as well. This adapter has a Female HDMI socket on one side and a Male DVI-D plug on the other side. The SCART to RCA adapter plugs into any spare SCART (21 pin) socket on your TV to allow stereo audio (Left + Right channels via two RCA/phono/cinch sockets) and composite video (single RCA or S-Video/S-VHS) signals to be sent either into or out of the TV. A switch on the adapter allows you to choose whether to play sound and pictures from an external device onto the TV (INPUT) or to play sound and pictures from the TV out to an external device (OUTPUT). This adapter is particularly useful when connecting portable music players into older televisions with limited input sockets, as they can be combined with our wide range of audio cables to allow almost any audio product to be played through your TV. Another popular use for this adapter is to take an audio output from a TV that does not have dedicated sockets for this purpose, so that the sound from the TV can be played through external speakers. This adapter has three Female RCA sockets and one Female S-VHS socket on one side and a Male SCART plug on the other side. Please note that the adapter is NOT suitable for the BeoVision 5 TV, as this has restricted space around the SCART sockets.
