New Wall Shelf for B&O Beogram Turntables

This product is a brand new wall shelf to allow you to mount your cherished B&O Beogram Turntable on the wall. These have been out of production for over 10 years and I've only seen one used item come up on eBay in the past 18 months. I have a very small number of these shelves available on a STRICTLY "first-come, first-served" basis only.

This measures 33cm wide x 30cm deep x 7cm high and will fit all newer B&O tangential turntables, as well as most of the radial models. Basically, if the depth from the back edge of your B&O turntable to the front "feet" underneath is 30cm or less, then this shelf will fit!

I have a collection of classic Beogram turntables around my house and I bought the only original B&O wall shelf that I could find for sale. As B&O haven't made these since the early 1990's, I have improved on the design and had a batch made so I can put all of my other B&O turntables up onto the wall.

I now have a very small number of spare brackets available. I have taken measurements from the original item and I have used the same grade of 3mm mild steel to ensure that the original B&O quality is maintained. I have improved on the design by adding a small raised lip at the front of the shelf, to prevent your prized turntable falling off the shelf if it is accidentally knocked. Also, I have removed the two small wedges at the sides, which prevented many older turntables being fitted, but which served no useful purpose. Finally, I have added extra mounting holes and increased the diameter of these, so that heavy-duty wall bolts can be used for a VERY secure fixing!

The shelf is professionally laser-cut from heavy-duty 3mm mild steel (as per the original B&O item) and is finished in a factory-applied matt black powder coat finish to give a durable and attractive look. I have applied over 6Kg of weight to one of these shelves with no sign of strain, so it is more than strong enough for a record player. There is also no reason why you could not use this to wall-mount a hifi system, DVD player, set-top box, TV, or other electronic items up to 6Kg in weight.

    When in use, the shelf is virtually invisible, as the turntable covers it completely. This is truly a masterpiece of understated design!
