Beolab 5 OFC Synchronisation Cable

This product is a high quality, Pure-Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper audiophile quality cable to allow you to connect your Beolab 5 speakers to a non-B&O source with a digital output when used in conjunction with our S/PDIF digital speaker cables. This cable ensures that the internal volume controls of each Beolab 5 are synchronised, so that they all play at the correct volume - if you are in any doubt, please ask!

For reference, use of this cable requires the Synch function to be enabled on your speakers. The Synch function was active on Beolab 5 speakers from serial no. 17772145 and software level 2.5 and above (around April 2004 onwards). Please note that the only option available to those with older Beolab 5's linked to non-B&O equipment is to set both speakers near to maximum volume and then use the external (ie. source) volume control.

High quality, premium branded, metal-cased plugs are used on our cables in preference to the cheap plastic plugs that you will see on many other companies' cables. Our metal cased plugs give better protection against induced electrical noise, which can degrade the sound quality produced. They are also far more rugged, to give you years of listening pleasure. We also use premium quality, gold-plated 3.5mm jack plugs on our cables (as indicated by Gold 3.5mm in the description), for the ultimate in quality sound reproduction! When you have paid good money for your car and its audio system, you should make the best of this investment by using good cables.

Slimline, audiophile-quality, Oxygen-Free Copper screened cabling is used in our cables, to ensure unrivalled sound quality, to prevent interference and to allow you to easily hide wiring when planning your equipment installation. This also reduces cross-talk and impedance to give a clearer, cleaner sound. The cable is finished in a dark Royal Blue colour (2m length) and Grey or Black sheath (longer lengths).

    Please note: Very few other companies' cables use branded cable and plugs. Even fewer use Directional Oxygen-Free Copper for optimum signal quality and hardly any others include a foil screen to shield the cable from interference. If other companies' listings don't state these specifications, then their cables usually don't come anywhere near our quality!
