Masterlink compatible cable for Bang and Olufsen
This product is a high quality Masterlink compatible cable to allow you to connect additional link rooms and components to your Bang and Olufsen hifi system or television using the Masterlink sockets. This cable will fit almost all B&O audio systems and TV’s manufactured since 1992 (ie. those with Masterlink sockets) – if you are in any doubt, please ask!
High quality, shielded plugs with metal inner cases are used on our cables in preference to the cheap plastic plugs that you will see on many other companies' cables. Our shielded plugs give better protection against induced electrical noise, which can degrade the sound quality produced. They are also far more rugged, to give you years of listening pleasure. This cable is available in either black or white.
Cable specifications:-
This cable is now also available packed on a 100 metre reel, with unterminated ends (ie. with no plugs fitted), for use when planning your home B&O installation. As this cable comes without fitted plugs, we would only recommend this option for customers who have access to skilled engineers (to crimp the plugs onto the cable once it has been installed). We can provide wiring charts with each reel of cable on request to assist you with your installation.
We can also supply genuine B&O Masterlink Junction Boxes to make it easy for you to connect up to 4 Masterlink cable ends together. These come with simple instructions and a fitting tool, so no special tools or experience are required. Simply cut the cables, press the wires into the colour-coded slots in the junction box and snap the lid into place.
Please note: Very few other companies' cables use shielded cable and plugs. Even fewer use high-purity, stranded copper for optimum signal quality. If other companies' listings don't state these specifications, then their cables usually don't come anywhere near our quality! If you've invested in a good quality audio system, then you need good cables to get the best from it. All of our cables are designed and tested by a Graduate Electronics Engineer with over 20 years experience of B&O equipment.
