Quad 4 pin DIN to RCA Pre/Power Amp Cable

This product is a high quality audiophile cable to allow you to either:-

  • * Connect your Quad 33 or 44 Pre-Amplifier to an non-Quad Power Amp with RCA inputs, OR
  • * Connect a Quad Pre-Amplifier with RCA outputs (eg. Quad 34) to a Quad 303, 405 or 405-2 Power Amp, OR
  • * Connect a non-Quad Pre-Amplifier with RCA outputs to your Quad 303, 405 or 405-2 Power Amplifier

    These cables were rare in the 1970's and are nearly impossible to obtain now! I have managed to find a very limited new stock of the original high-quality 4-pin DIN plugs for these systems and I am manufacturing a limited production run of these cables on a STRICTLY "FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED" basis.

    Compatible Quad pre-amplifiers:-

  • * All models with 4-pin DIN output sockets, including 33 and 44 (not suitable for Naim amplifiers)

    Compatible Quad power amplifiers:-

  • * All models with 4-pin DIN input sockets, including 303, 405 and 405-2 (not suitable for Naim amplifiers)

    High quality metal-cased plugs with a plastic outer cover are used on our cables in preference to the cheap unshielded plugs that you will see on many other companies' cables. Our metal cased plugs give better protection against induced electrical noise, which can degrade the sound quality produced. They are also far more rugged, to give you years of listening pleasure.

    Slimline, audiophile-quality Pure-Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper screened cabling is used in our cables, to ensure unrivalled sound quality, to prevent interference and to allow you to easily hide wiring when planning your equipment installation. This also reduces cross-talk and impedance to give a clearer, cleaner sound. The cable is finished in a dark Royal Blue colour (1m length) and Grey or or Black colour (longer lengths).

  • * Twin Screened Pure-Crystal, Oxygen-Free Copper (PC-OFC) cable with Royal Blue sheath (1m length) and Grey or Black sheath (longer lengths)
  • * Signal conductors (x 2): 7 x 0.2mm PC-OFC copper
  • * Screening conductors (x 2): 16 x 0.12mm PC-OFC copper
  • * Metal-bodied 4-pin DIN plug with black plastic outer cover
  • * 2 x 24 carat Gold-Plated metal-bodied RCA plugs

    Please note: Very few other companies' cables use branded cable and plugs. Even fewer use Oxygen-Free Copper for optimum signal quality. If other companies' listings don't state these specifications, then their cables usually don't come anywhere near our quality! If you've invested in a good quality audio system, then you need good cables to get the best from it.
