Pre-Amp Kit for Naim, Quad and Meridian Amplifiers

This product is a high quality, audiophile phono pre-amplifier with convertor cables to allow you to connect a record player or turntable with a fitted DIN or RCA cable into your Naim, Quad, Meridian, Leak, A&R or Audiolab amplifier using a "Tape" or "Line In" socket, where the Turntable has either a 5pin or 7pin DIN plug or twin RCA plugs on a fitted cable. This kit uses premium quality, gold-plated RCA plugs and DIN plugs and will fit almost all modern and classic audio systems with DIN input sockets. It will also fit almost all turntables with a captive stereo RCA or DIN cable fitted. Also, if you have RCA inputs on your audio system, this kit can be supplied with an RCA output cable instead of the usual DIN output cable at no extra cost - if you are in any doubt about suitability, please ask!

The kit includes a high quality RIAA pre-amplifier (manufactured by Vivanco), with UK 220-240 volt AC mains power supply and two convertor cables for RCA inputs and DIN outputs (these can be changed using the menu on the left side of this page if required). For sales to Europe and Australia, an appropriate mains adapter plug will also be supplied with the kit to allow you to plug it into the 220-240 volt AC electrical supply in the country of purchase. As with all high quality audio systems, this kit is designed to be left permanently connected to the electrical supply.

As the kit is designed for use with the 220-240 volt AC UK, European and Australian electrical supplies, you should contact us for advice if you intend to purchase this kit to use outside the UK, EU or Australia. This kit is designed to work from voltages between 220 and 240 volts AC only and this is NOT suitable for 110 volt supplies or DC (direct current) supplies. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS KIT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE IN USA, MEXICO OR CANADA.

High quality, gold plated plugs are used on our cables in preference to the cheaper plugs that you will see on many other companies' cables. Our high quality plugs give better protection against induced electrical noise, which can degrade the sound quality produced. They are also far more rugged, to give you years of listening pleasure.

Please note: Very few other companies' cables use high quality cable and plugs. Even fewer use Oxygen-Free Copper for optimum signal quality. If other companies' listings don't state these specifications, then their cables usually don't come anywhere near our quality! If you've invested in a good quality audio system, then you need good cables to get the best from it. All cables are specified and tested by the company founder, a Graduate Electronics Engineer with over 20 years experience of high-end audio equipment.
