4 way Audio Input Switch Kit for Naim / Quad Amps

This product is a high quality, 4 way Audio Switch Box and the corresponding 50cm input cable and one metre long audiophile output cable to allow you to connect up to four non-Naim/Quad CD or DVD players (or any other similar line-level sources) into your Naim, Quad or Meridian hifi system using the "Tape" or "Line In" socket, where the CD/DVD players have the industry-standard twin RCA (phono) or TRS (headphone style) plugs. It can also be used to connect a Turntable to your Naim, Quad or Meridian system, as long as you have a Phono Pre-Amplifier to boost the signal up to line level. This switch box and the connecting cable use premium quality, gold-plated RCA plugs and sockets and will fit almost all Naim, Quad and Meridian audio systems including those listed below - if you are in any doubt, please ask!

    The switch box has 3 pairs of gold plated RCA sockets and one stereo TRS (headphone style) socket for optimum signal transfer and has an easy to use selector dial on the top to allow the required source to be selected. Four rubber feet underneath the switch box allow it to sit securely on any flat surface and its attractive black finish makes it the ideal partner to your high-end audio system.

    High quality, premium branded, metal-cased plugs are used on our cables in preference to the cheap plastic plugs that you will see on many other companies' cables. Our metal cased plugs give better protection against induced electrical noise, which can degrade the sound quality produced. They are also far more rugged, to give you years of listening pleasure. We also use premium quality, gold-plated RCA, DIN and TRS plugs on our cables, for the ultimate in quality sound reproduction! Two cables are included with the switch box; a 2m TRS to TRS (headphone style) input cable to allow easy connection of an iPod, laptop or MP3 player and a choice of either a 1m stereo RCA to DIN, a 1m stereo RCA to RCA or a 2m TRS to TRS output cable.

    Slimline, audiophile-quality Oxygen-Free Copper screened cabling is used in our cables, to ensure unrivalled sound quality, to prevent interference and to allow you to easily hide wiring when planning your equipment installation. This also reduces cross-talk and impedance to give a clearer, cleaner sound. The output cable is finished in a dark Royal Blue colour, while the input cable is white. The output cable can also be specified with RCA (phono) plugs or a 3.5mm "headphone type" minijack plug instead of the standard 5 pin DIN plug if required.

    Please note: Very few other companies' cables use branded cable and plugs. Even fewer use Oxygen-Free Copper for optimum signal quality. If other companies' listings don't state these specifications, then their cables usually don't come anywhere near our quality!
